World Book Day: Character Appearance

 Rosalind will appear dressed as any literary character or historical figure you may be studying, providing your students with the opportunity to meet them in person and ask questions.

A series of Performing Arts based games and tasks will also take place, including storytelling and role play.

Book characters include, but are not limited to: ‘The Little Brown Mouse’ from The Gruffalo (Julia Donaldson), ‘Monkey’ from Slow Down Monkey (Jess French) ‘Cat’ from The Cat In The Hat (Dr. Suess) ‘Hermione Granger’ from Harry Potter (J.K. Rowling).

Historical characters include, but are not limited to: Florence Nightingale, Christopher Columbus, Mary Read, Queen Elizabeth I, King Charles II, Samuel Pepys, a House Servant from 1666 (Mary the Maid) and many more.
